Ha! Here I am again, the first one bugging you. :p
I just wanted to clarify a couple of things.
I'm not registered yet because I'm not going to have the money for it until my next paycheck. Do I have to register before I send in my party form or do I just have to be registered before party plans start getting finalized?
Do I need to reserve a poolside room myself or do you guys already have those reserved so that you can place people running parties in them?
Are the rooms $127 +tax or is tax already included?
Lastly, is it just me or are the rooms more than $10 cheaper this year? The rooms also seem nicer, and the tax rate is only 13.2%, rather than the 13.6% in Bloomington. Very, very good move on AD's part.

CLARIFICATION TIME! yay! (you're not the first person to contact me though, hehe)
ok, we will weed things out as we get closer to the time of the convention, so for now, send us a room party form, all filled out with your info. we have the block already reserved and we will place your party. once the hotel knows who is going in what room, we will either have to hotel contact you, or have you contact the hotel to exchange credit card information.
as long as you register for the con before the con happens, or before we sell out you are ok, I don't need you registered before I receive the form. just know that when the party registration closes, non-registered party hosts will either be removed, or moved aside until I have a change to talk to them. but for right now, I will accept forms from anyone interested!
I'm unsure if the posted cost includes tax yet, my guess is that it is +tax, I'll get back to you on that one.
also, for anyone else reading this, please Email me with your questions using ad_parties email! I can respond faster that way! Thanks!

Actually no, you do not need to RSVP, the parties are open to all convention members, and the hosts will have times posted of when they are open, and like any other programing at detour, you just stop in and see what happening! I'm actually the host for the ouran party, and our hours will be friday only 8pm to midnight! |

Ah, so exciting!! =D It's especially cool to see my party first on the list. It'll be so much better this year. I mean, last year was good and all, but we made a lot of mistakes and have learned from them. Way more fans and wings this time around and this time I'll make sure I have access to Paradise Kiss more than 3 days before hand... xD And, yes, we are putting a crazy amount of time, energy, money, blood, sweat, tears and anxiety into this (Okay, maybe most of that is just me...) as party hosts, but I'm sure it's little compared to the work you and your co-head are putting into it. Running a department is extremely difficult. Dealing with people can also be extremely difficult. You're running (and establishing, really) a young department that other departments tend not to understand the needs of while trying to keep all of your party hosts happy, organized and up to date. You guys totally rock. Thank you for working so hard to make it possible for us to run our parties.  |

Also hosts, if you have not done so yet, please check your emails, you should have received the list of room assignments, if you have not gotten yours, please email ad_parties immediately so we can get you that info.....
Again, I want to say thank you to all the hosts who sacrifice it all to make this happen! your parties will ROCK, no doubt about it!

I've already sent the Room Parties page to the Program Book, if you need to change something, my best recommendation is to post the correct times and/or descriptions on your party posters, also send the change to the ad_parties email, because I'll be printing up a couple of large signs with the parties info on them!
